Abstract
본 발명은 전자관의 전자총에 사용되는 산화물 음극에 관한 것으로서, 금속기체, 그의 상부에 형성되는 적어도 바륨을 함유하는 전자방출물질층, 및 이를 가열하는 수단을 구비하는 산화물 음극에 있어서, 상기 금속기체의 히이터쪽 면에 금속기체 중 환원제의 확산방지층을 바람직하게는 알루미늄 코팅으로 형성시킨 산화물 음극은, 수명 개선 효과가 크므로 매우 실용적인 산화물 음극이다.The present invention relates to an oxide cathode used for an electron gun of an electron tube, comprising: a metal gas, an electron-emitting material layer containing at least barium formed thereon, and an oxide cathode including a means for heating the same. The oxide cathode in which the diffusion preventing layer of the reducing agent in the metal gas is preferably formed of an aluminum coating on the heater side is a very practical oxide cathode because of its long life improvement effect.
