종래의 선미튜브부위 삽입방법은 제2도와 같은 우선 선미쪽 튜브부쉬(3)와 선수쪽 튜브부쉬(도시없음)가 있는데 선미쪽 튜브부쉬(3)를 샤프트(2)에 삽입시키고 지그 즉 부쉬패드(14)와 너트(15)로 지지시키고 선수쪽에서 4대의 유압잭(16)(16')이 설치된 잭패드(17)를 샤프트(2)에 끼워 너트(15')로 고정시키고 1세트의 유압 분배면(6가닥)을 이용하여 작업 및 검사를 종료후 선수쪽 튜브부쉬를 같은 방법으로 지그를 교체하여 작업 및 검사를 실시하여야 하기 때문에 지그를 2세트 준비하거나 크레인을 이용하여 선미쪽 선외에서 선수쪽 선내로 이동교체하여 작업 및 검사를 6시간에 걸쳐 8명의 인원으로 선미, 선수쪽에서 선주선급입회 검사를 2회 하여야 하는 번거로움과 지그 교체로 인한 안전사고의 문제점이 있었다.Conventionally, the stern tube inserting method includes a first stern tube bush (3) and a bow tube bush (not shown) as shown in FIG. 2.
