본 발명은 자체내에 직류전원을 포함하고 있는 전기용품 특히 유·무선 겸용 진공청소기 등과 같이 직류전원과 교류전원을 동시에 사용하는 진공청소기에 있어서 교류전원에 연결된 외부 플러그의 삽입과 인출에 의하여 직류전원과 교류전원을 자동으로 절환시키기 위한 스위치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 직류/교류 절환 스위치는 외부 플러그이 수용부를 구성하는 스위치 하우징(1), 상기 스위치 하우징(1)내에 고정된 2개의 중심고정단자(2), 상기 스위치 하우징(1)의 내부에 수용되어 외부 플러그(8)의 입출에 따라 전후로 이동하는 이동자(3), 상기 이동자에 형성된 돌출부(3-1), 상기 이동자의 전면에 고정된 2개의 수직도전판(4), 상기 이동자의 후면에 고정된 1개의 수평도저판(5), 상기 이동자의 양측면에 고정되어 상기 이동자의 이동에 따라 상기 도전판들과 전기적으로 단속되는 6개의 주변단자(6) 및 상기 이동자의 후면에 위치한 스프링(7)으로 구성됨을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 따른 직류/교류 절환 스위치는 단순히 외부 플러그의 교류전원에 연결된 외부 플러그의 삽입과 인출에 의하여 직류전원과 교류전원을 자동으로 절환시킴으로써 유·무선 겸용 진공청소기를 매우 편리하게 사용할 수 있도록 한다. 또한 별도의 어뎁터나 전원회로를 사용하지 아니하고도 직류와 교류를 임의로 선택하여 사용할 수 있다.The present invention relates to a direct current power supply by inserting and withdrawing an external plug connected to an AC power source in a vacuum cleaner using a DC power source and an AC power source, such as an electric appliance including a DC power source in itself.
