본 발명은 차량감지기의 루프코일 단선 검출장치 및 그 방법에 관한 것으로, 종래에는 소프트웨어적인 알고리즘을 채용하여 최대 발진주파수를 검출하면 루프코일의 단선으로 판별함으로 부품의 특성오차, 현장조건 및 환경조건에 의해 발진주파수가 변화되어 검출결과의 신뢰성이 저하되고 실시간 검출이 안됨으로 운용상의 불편을 초래하는 문제점이 있었다. 이러한 점을 감안하여 본 발명에서는 루프코일 단선시 전류 흐름이 없음을 이용하여 하드웨어적 알고리즘을 채용한 것으로 부품의 특성차, 현장조건 및 환경조건등의 영향에 관계없이 차량감지의 실시간중에 단선유무를 검출할 수 있다. 따라서, 단선유무를 즉시 판별함에 의해 루프코일의 유지보수가 용이할 뿐 아니라 오데이타 수집을 방지할 수 있어 검출결과의 신뢰성과 교통 통제 관리의 효율성을 향상시킬 수 있다.The present invention relates to a loop coil disconnection detection device and a method thereof for a vehicle sensor, and conventionally employs a software algorithm to detect the maximum oscillation frequency and determine the disconnection of the loop coil to prevent component error, field conditions, and environmental conditions.
