The present invention relates to a load protection circuit according to power supply voltage switching that can protect against overvoltage in various electronic products for 110 / 220V.
In general, 110 / 220V combined electronic devices are mainly composed of an automatic voltage regulation type that always supplies a constant voltage regardless of an incoming voltage and a voltage switching type that artificially selects a working voltage. Especially in the latter case, the user may check the voltage switching switch and select an appropriate voltage. However, if a voltage opposite to the selection voltage of the switching switch is used, a risk of circuit breakdown or fire may occur. In other words, if the switch is set to 220V, the risk of using 110V is small. However, if the switch is set to 110V and 220V power is supplied due to a user's mistake, it may cause overvoltage to the load resulting in parts destruction or fire. will be. Therefore, the present invention was devised to solve the above problems. When 220V overvoltage is applied when 110V is selected, a short phenomenon is caused by a neon lamp to open a fuse to prevent a circuit of load. The purpose of the present invention is to contribute to improving the reliability of various electronic devices by providing a load protection circuit according to the present invention.
Hereinafter, described in detail by the accompanying drawings as follows.
As shown in FIG. 1, the inlet voltage of 110 / 220V is switched through the fuse F and the driving switch SW, and the resistances R 2 -R 3 of the rectifier circuit BD and the capacitors C 1 -C 3 are switched. In a conventional 110 / 220V dual circuit in which a 110 / 220V switching circuit composed of a switch 4 is connected to the load 3 side, a neon lamp 2 and a resistor R 1 are connected to the driving switch SW stage by force. It is a load protection circuit according to the power supply voltage adjustment which added the power cut-off circuit 1 connected to the 110V terminal of the switching switch 4.
Referring to the effect of the present invention made of the configuration as described above are as follows.
As shown in FIG. 1, when the switching switch 4 is set at 110V, the capacitor C 1 is a normal switching circuit that is used to select 110 / 220V except for the power cutoff circuit 1. The voltage is backed up by C 2 ) and supplied to the load 3. At this time, if the changeover switch 4 is set to 110V and 220V is applied due to a mistake of the user, twice the usual voltage is applied to both ends of the capacitor C 3 , and the voltage is transferred to the load 3, resulting in a load ( 3) Over voltage is applied and parts are broken or a fire occurs in severe cases, but it is blocked by the power cut-off circuit (1).
That is, when the switching switch 4 is set to 110V and 220V is applied, the neon lamp 2 is left at about 160V voltage, and thus the neon lamp 2 and the resistor R 1 form a short circuit to form the fuse F. By opening, it is possible to cut off the power supplied to the load 3 to protect the load 3 from overvoltage.
The present invention, which works as described above, adds a power cut-off circuit (2) in which a neon lamp (2) and a resistor (R 1 ) are connected in series to a 110 / 220V switching circuit, which is generally used. It is a useful design that can greatly contribute to improving the reliability of the electronic device by protecting the load (3) by blocking the fuse (F) when the overvoltage is applied.
