본 발명은 절화의 저장과 선도유지를 위한 신규한 절화보존제 조성물에 관한 것이다. 좀 더 구체적으로, 본 발명은 출하시기를 조절하기 위하여, 저온저장 후 야기되는 개화불량 및 수명단축을 개선할 수 있는 절화보존제 및 그를 이용한 절화보존방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 절화보존제는 수크로스(sucrose), 실버티오설페이트(siver thiosulfate), 지베레린(giberellin) 및 저온으로 인하여 세포내에서 생성되는 유독물질인 초산화물(superoxide)을 분해하는 초산화물 디스뮤타제(superxide dismutase, SOD)의 활성을 증진시키는 망간 등을 첨가하여 제조한다.The present invention relates to novel cut flower preservative compositions for storage and freshness of cut flowers.
