본 발명은 레이져 디스크와 그 재생장치 및 재생방법에 관한 것으로서, 특히 레이져 디스크의 A,B면 재생시 A면이 저면으로 위치되었든 B면이 저면으로 위치되었든 관계없이 상기 레이져 디스크를 어느 일방향으로만 회전시켜 줄 수 있게하여 하부면 재생완료후 상부면 재생을 시작할때까지 걸리는 시간을 줄여줄 수 있도록 한 것이다.The present invention relates to a laser disc, a reproducing apparatus, and a reproducing method thereof. 이를위해, 본 발명은 A면의 기록부분에 형성된 트랙(7)을 저면에서 보았을때와 B면 기록부분에 형성된 트랙(7a)을 평면에서 보았을때 각각 동일방향을 이루도록 함과 함께 상기 A면 비기록부분에 부착된 라벨(8) 직경을 B면 비기록부분에 부착된 라벨(8a) 직경보다 더크게 한 신규한 구성의 레이져 디스크를 A면이 저면으로 위치된 상태로 턴테이블에 안착시켜 재생할 경우에는 A면 라벨을 픽업내의 독취부에서 센싱하여 상기 픽업의 위치이동에 관계없이 스핀들모터를 계속해서 정방향으로 구동시켜 레이져 디스크를 시계방향으로 회전시키면서 A,B면을 재생할 수 있도록 하고 B면이 저면으로 위치된 상태로 턴테이블에 안착시켜 재생할 경우에는 B면 라벨을 독취부에서 센싱하여 상기 픽업의 위치이동에 관계없이 스핀들모터를 계속해서 역방향으로 구동시켜 레이져 디스크를 반시계방향으로 회전시키면서 A,B면을 재생할 수 있도록 한 것이다.To this end, the present invention achieves the same direction when the track 7 formed on the recording portion of the A surface is viewed from the bottom and when the track 7a formed on the recording surface of the B surface is viewed from the plane, respectively.
