파워가 온된 상태에서 셋트에 부착된 키패드나 리모콘으로부터 키가 입력되면 이에 해당되는 모드를 온 스크린 디스플레이 문자로 디스플레이하는 방법에 있어서, 키 입력에 해당되는 OSD 문자가 디스플레이된 상태에서 상기 키패드나 리모콘으로부터 문자 위치키가 입력되면 OSD 문자를 이동시킬 수 있도록 방향키(↑,↓,←,→)를 문자의 위치 이동키로 셋팅시키는 초기 과정과, 방향키의 입력에 따라 디스플레이된 OSD 문자를 이동 및 저장하는 선택 방향으로의 이동 과정과, 상기 방향키를 선택적으로 입력하여 OSD회로가 지원하는 상,하,좌,우 한계치내에서 수평/수직 방향으로 OSD 문자를 이동시키고 동시에 이동된 문자의 위치를 OSD 제어 레지스터에 저장하는 수평/수직 이동 과정과 이동된 문자의 위치를 원래의 위치로 복귀시키기 위하여 지움키를 입력하면 현재 디스플레이된 모드만 제조업체에서 정한 원래의 문자의 위치로 복귀시키는 조정 문자 지움 과정으로 이루어지는 OSD 문자 위치 이동 및 저장방법.When a key is input from a keypad or a remote controller attached to a set while the power is turned on, the corresponding mode is displayed by on-screen display characters.
