Abstract
본 발명은 서브밴드 부호화기의 적응비트 할당장치에 관한 것으로, 종래에는 비트할당을 위해 입력의 최대치를 선정 스케일링팩터(Scaling factor)로 활용하여 각 서브밴드신호를 스케일링한 후 재양자화함으로써 이 신호를 복조할때에도 스케일링 팩터가 부속정보로 필요하게 됨으로 이 스케일링 팩터를 항상 오디오 데이터와 함께 채널에 전송해야 함으로 전송효율이 떨어지게 되는 문제점이 있었다.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an adaptive bit allocation apparatus for a subband encoder, and conventionally demodulates this signal by scaling and then requantizing each subband signal by using a maximum input value as a predetermined scaling factor for bit allocation. Even when the scaling factor is needed as ancillary information, this scaling factor has to be transmitted to the channel with audio data at all times, thereby reducing the transmission efficiency.
