본발명은 이중의 채널관리모드를 가짐으로써 마이크로셀 구조에서도 고속이동중인 단말기와 통신이 가능하도록 무선통신 시스템의 마이크로셀룰라 운영방법에 관한 것으로서, 고속이동중인 단말기에게 마이크로셀을 쿨러스터링하여 동일한 무선채널을 사용함으로써 매크로셀로 동작하게 하고 단말기 주변의 마이크로셀들을 통하여 수신된 신호를 기초로 단말기의 위치를 추정하여 추정된 마이크로셀로 송신하고 매크로영역내에서 마이크로셀 사용의 패턴과 빈도에 따라 저속 및 고속여부를 판별하여 양모드로 핸드오프되도록 하고, 매크로영역내에서의 마이크로셀 사용의 패턴으로 다음의 근접 매크로영역을 예상, 이를 이용하여 핸드오프를 처리함으로써 많은 가입자 용량을 목표로 하는 개인통신시스템이나 무선구내 교환기 시스템에서 적은 반경의 마이크로셀구조를 통하여 고속이동중인 단말기와 통신이 가능하게 되는 것이다.The present invention relates to a method of operating a microcellular in a wireless communication system to enable communication with a fast moving terminal even in a microcell structure by having a dual channel management mode.
