Abstract

본 발명은 도트타입 컬러수상관의 새도우마스크에 관한 것으로 특히 마스크슬롯 형상에 의한 형광체 도트 및 빔 형상 언밸런스 문제를 해결하기 위하여 마스크슬롯의 가로세로길이를 마스크의 곡률에 따라 중심, 수평, 수직, 대각축에 따라 각각 달리형성한 것인바, 중심부는 가로길이와 세로길이를 동일길이로 하고 수평축은 가로길이가 세로길이 보다 긴 타원형으로 형성하여 수직축은 가로길이와 세로길이가 서로다른 타원형부 형상으로 형성하여 상기 슬롯을 통과하여 스크린에 형광체 도트형성시 반드시 원형인 형광체도트가 형성될수 있도록함으로써 화면 특성을 개선한다.

Claims (2)

  1. 전자빔을 선택적으로 통과시켜 색선별역할을 하며 일정곡률을 갖는 컬러수상관의 새도우마스크에 있어서, 전자빔을 통과시키는 마스크 슬롯은 마스크의 중심에서는 가로길이 a(X)=세로길이a(Y)인 원형으로 하고, 수평축(X) 주변부에서는 가로길이a(x)＞세로길이a(Y)인 타원형으로 하고, 수직축(Y)에서는 가로길이 a(X)＜세로길이a(Y)인 타원형으로 하고, 대각축(D)에서는 가로길이 a(X)≠세로길이 a(Y)인 가로/세로길이가 서로 다른 타원형으로 형성시킨 것을 특징으로 하는 도트타입 컬러수상관용 새도우마스크.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 컬러수상관의 중심축을 기준으로 하여 마스크 수평방향으로 θ1, 수직방향으로 S1의 기울기를 갖고, 전자빔의 진로는 수평방향으로 θ2, 수직방향으로 S2의 기울기를 가질때 상기 수평축a(X)의 마스크슬롯은 a(Y)=a/cos(θ1-θ2)＞a(Y)의 값으로 하고 상기 수직축a(Y)상의 마스크슬롯은 a(X)＜a(Y)＝a(X)/cos(S2-S1)으로 슬롯의 가로세로 직경을 설정함을 특징으로 하는 도트타입 컬러수상관용 새도우마스크.
