Abstract
본 발명은 디지탈 오디오 기기의 녹음, 재새과정에서 가청 임계점을 이용하여 데이타 압축시 발생하는 원음과의 차이를 최소화하여 음질을 개선코자한 비트 할당 방법에 관한 것이다.The present invention relates to a bit allocation method for improving sound quality by minimizing a difference from the original sound generated during data compression by using an audible threshold during recording and re-writing of a digital audio device.
이를 위하여 본 발명은 비트 할당후 마스킹 효과에 의한 신호 압축을 행하는 기존의 방식을 지양하고 마스킹 곡선을 기준점으로하여 시간축이 주파수 축으로 변환된 블럭 i번째 변화량을 구한후 마스킹 레벨값 이상일 경우에만 비트 할당을 행하여 압축, 재생된 음질 개선을 도모코자 한 것이다.To this end, the present invention avoids the conventional method of compressing the signal by the masking effect after bit allocation, and obtains the bit allocation only when the mask is at the masking level value after calculating the i-th change of the time axis converted into the frequency axis by using the masking curve as a reference point.
