본 발명은 자기헤드 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은, 한쌍의 비자성기판중 적어도 일측 비자성기판의 내측면 양측에, 상기 자기갭 부위의 다층자성층의 폭보다 다른 부위의 다층자성층의 폭이 상대적으로 넓게 형성되도록 하는 인입부가 각각 형성된 자기헤드를 제공함에 특징이 있다. 또한 비자성기판의 상면에 소정간격으로 인입홈을 복수개 형성하고, 상기 인입홈에 자성막과 절연막을 순차적으로 복수층 적층형성 한 다음, 상기 비자성 기판의 전면을 덮도록 자성막과 절연막을 순차적으로 복수층 적층 형성하는 공정과, 상기 공정에 의해 제조된 기판을 복수개 적층하고 융착하여 코어블록을 형성하고, 이 코어블록을 소정패턴으로 절단하여 복수개의 코어반체블록을 형성하는 공정과, 상기 코어반체블록에 각각 코일권선홈과 자기갭을 형성하고 이들을 접착시킨 다음 절단하여 한쌍의 코어반체를 형성하는 공정을 포함하여 된 자기헤드의 제조방법을 제공하는데 있다. 따라서 고밀도 기록이 가능하고, 재생효율이 우수한 자기헤드를 얻을 수 있게 된다.The present invention relates to a magnetic head and a method of manufacturing the same.
