본 발명은 상·하부 유리기판 위에 소정의 전극패턴과 배향막을 순차적으로 형성하는 단계와, 하부 유리기판위에 자외선 경화 실란트로 소정형상의 다수의 시일 패턴을 인쇄하여 다수의 셀을 형성하고 그 위에 스페서를 산포하는 단계와, 상기 상부 유리기판 위에 상기 시일패턴 내측영역에 대응한 다수의 박막 액정 패턴을 형성하는 단계와, 상기 상·하부 유리기판을 진공상태에서 대향하여 가압하여 붙이고 자외선을 조사하여 상기 실란트를 경화시켜 액정을 밀봉하는 단계로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시 장치용 액정셀의 제조방법으로서, 종래 방식에 비하여 제조공정이 크게 단순화되고 손실되는 액정의 양을 줄일 수 있다.According to the present invention, a predetermined electrode pattern and an alignment layer are sequentially formed on upper and lower glass substrates, and a plurality of cells are formed on a lower glass substrate by printing a plurality of seal patterns of a predetermined shape with UV-curable sealant to form a plurality of cells thereon.
