Abstract

The method mixes granular potassium perchlorate 18 wt.% with 99.99 % pure iron powder 82 wt.% in a dry state to press-mold the product into pellets to obtain the heat pellets as the final product. The heat pellets is ignited by the heat generated from a trigreed detonation to produce heat to melt the solid electrolyte and activate the battery function.

Description

Manufacturing method of heat pellet for heat battery

The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a heat generating material (HEAT PELLET) for generating a battery by melting a solid electrolyte by generating a high temperature heat amount.

Particularly, in the present invention, when the primer is ignited due to the blow, the ignition material is the ignition paper (HEAT PAPER) and the instantaneous heating material (HEAT PELLET) is ignited and heated to melt the solid electrolyte to form a battery. It relates to a method for producing a heating material for a thermo battery.

Therefore, an object of the present invention is to ignite only by the heat generated by the ignition material and not to ignite in a normal state so that the solid electrolyte can be melted.

It is another object of the present invention to be able to generate the high temperature calories required to melt the solid electrolyte.

When described in detail according to the present invention having such an object as follows.

18 wt% of KClO 4 dried at a size of 26 micrometers (μm) or less, and 82 wt% of 99.99% iron (Fe) powder dried at a vacuum dryer for at least 6 hours and dried at a particle size of less than 100 micrometers (μm) When the mixture is mixed until the color becomes constant, a heating material in a powder state is produced.

When the heat generating material in a powder state is compressed by a hydraulic press or the like, it becomes a heat generating material for a heat battery.

As described above, the present invention does not ignite and generate heat in a homogeneously mixed and compressed state in which KClO 4 and iron powder are dried. This is a unique method of manufacturing a heat generating material (HEAT PELLET) that can be melted to form a battery.
