Abstract

캡스턴 펄스를 이용하여 비디오 테이프의 두께를 판별하기 위한 방법이 기술되는바, 이는 비디오 테이프의 재생시 테이프 잔량 키이가 입력되었을 경우 상기의 키이가 눌려진 순간의 캡스턴 펄스갯수(P0)를 카운트하는 단계와; 상기의 키이가 눌려진 뒤 릴이 1회전한후의 캡스턴 펄스 갯수(P1)를 카운트하는 단계와; 상기의 캡스턴 펄스 갯수의 차(P1-P0)를 계산하되, 테이프 잔량 키이가 눌려진 후 릴이 6회전할때까지의 총 캡스턴 펄스차이를 계산하는 단계; 및 상기의 총 캡스턴 펄스차이가 메모리된 숫자와 일치될때 그에 해당하는 비디오 테이프의 두께를 디지트론에 표시토록 하는 단계로 이루어진다.

제2도는 본 발명에 따른 두께를 판별하기 위한 릴에서의 테이프 반경과 두께와의 관계를 도시한 도면,
제3도는 본 발명에 따라 비디오 테이프의 두께를 판별하기 위한 제어플로우차트이다.

Claims (2)

  1. 캡스턴 펄스를 이용하여 비디오 테이프의 두게를 판별하기 위한 방법에 있어서; 비디오 테이프의 재생시 테이프 잔량 키이가 입력되었을 경우 상기의 키이가 눌려진 순간의 캡스턴 펄스갯수(P0)를 카운트하는 단계와; 상기의 키이가 눌려진 뒤 릴이 1회전한후의 캡스턴 펄스 갯수(Pl)를 카운트하는 단계와; 상기의 캡스턴 펄스 갯수의 차이(Pl-P0)를 계산하되, 테이프잔량이 키이가 눌려진후 릴이 소정의 횟수로 회전할때 까지의 총 캡스턴 펄스 차이를 계산하는 단계; 및 상기 층 캡스턴 펄스차이가 메모리된 숫자와 일치될 때 그에 해당되는 비디오 테이프의 두께를 디지트론에 표시토록하는 단계로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 비디오 테이프의 두께 판별방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기의 총 캡스턴 펄스차이를 계산하는 단계에서 릴의 회전수는 6회전 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 비디오 테이프의 두께 판별방법.
