Abstract

본 발명은 이동통신기술에서 각 휴대장치의 이동위치를 추적하는 경우에 요구되는 위치관련정보를 효율적으로 관리·운용하기 위한 방법에 관한 것으로, 특히 무선 PBX(private branch exchange)와 같은 이동통신기술에 적합한 이동체의 위치관리방법으로, 휴대장치의 기본적인 이동방향을 이용하여 휴대장치의 이동이 급속히 이루어질 때 현재의 상주지역 이외의 이동이 빈번한 지역을 검색함으로써 휴대장치와의 접속확률을 높이고 시스템의 신뢰성을 향상시킬 수 있는 이동통신시스템에서의 이력관리기법에 의한 이동체의 위치관리방법을 제공함에 그 목적이 있는 바, 본 발명의 이력관리 기법에 의한 이동체의 위치관리방법에 따르면, 휴대장치의 현재위치 뿐만 아니라 과거에 이동하였던 이력정보를 유지·관리 함으로써 휴대장치가 위치갱신을 하기전에 급속히 이동하여 현재 기록된 지역을 벗어날 경우, 현재위치 뿐만아니라 과거에 이동하였던 지역을 탐색할 수 있도록 하고 있으므로 휴대장치의 위치에 대한 탐색성공률을 높일 수가 있게 된다.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. 이동체 위치 관리 방법에 있어서, 휴대장치로부터 위치정보의 갱신요구가 발생되면 주제어장치가 해당 휴대장치의 모든 위치정보들에 대해 이력패러미터값을 1씩 증가시키는 단계(S1)와, 위치정보를 수신한 고정장치의 번호를 위치정보데이터베이스에 저장된 정보들과 비교하여 동일한 고정장치번호를 갖는 위치정보가 있는지를 검색함으로써 처음 기록되는 위치정보인지의 여부를 판단하는 단계(S2), 이 단계 (S2)에서 처음 기록되는 위치정보라고 판단되었을때 위치정보데이타베이스에 상기 고정장치의 번호 및 해당지역의 전계강도데이터를 기톡하는 단계(S3) 해당 정보에 대한 이력패러미터를 “0”으로 설정하는 단계(S4,S6), 상기 단계(S2)에서 처음 기록되는 위치정보가 아니라고 판단되었을 때, 해당 고정장치의 전계강도데이터안을 갱신하는 단계(S5), 갱신할 정보가 더있는지의 여부를 판단하는 단계(S7), 해당 휴대장치의 각 위치정보들에 대한 이력패러미터를 확인하여 이력패러미터간이 소정 임계치를 초과하는 정보가 있는지의 여부를 판단하는 단계(S8), 이 단계(S8))에서의 비교결과, 임계치를 초과하는 이력패러미터값을 갖는 정보이면 그 정보를 위치정보 데이터베이스에서 소거하는 단계(S9), 상기 단계(S8)에서의 비교결과, 임계치를 초과하지 않은 이력패러미터값을 갖는 정보이면 최종적으로 위치정보의 갱신여부에 대한 응답을 송신한 고정장치의 관리영역을 휴대장치가 현재 위치하고 있는 지역으로 지정하여 현재위치패러미터를 설정하는 단계(S10)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이력관리기법에 의한 이동체의 위치관리 방법.In the moving object position management method, when a request for updating the location information is generated from the portable device, the main controller increases the history parameter value by 1 for all the location information of the portable device (S 1 ), and receives the location information.
