Abstract
본 발명은 자기기록매체의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 비자성 지지체 상에 자성재료를 코팅하여 자성층을 형성함에 있어서, 자성재료 분산매체로 사용되는 비드를 분산공정 초기에는 지르코니아 비드를, 분산공정 말기에는 그래스 비드를 사용하여 분산공정을 행함을 특징으로 하고 있다. 이러한 본 발명은 자성재료의 분산효율을 증대시킬 수 있게 되었고, 이에 따라 자기기록매체의 전자변환특성, 자기특성, 드롭 아우트 감소 등이 우수한 자기적 특성을 갖게 되었다.The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a magnetic recording medium, wherein in forming a magnetic layer by coating a magnetic material on a non-magnetic support, zirconia beads are used at the beginning of the dispersing process and beads are used as the magnetic material dispersing medium. The dispersion process is performed using glass beads. The present invention can increase the dispersion efficiency of the magnetic material, and thus has excellent magnetic properties such as electronic conversion characteristics, magnetic characteristics, and dropout reduction of the magnetic recording medium.
