본 발명은 세탁기의 세탁물량(포량)을 감지하고 감지결과에 대응하여 적절한 세제투입량을 사용자에게 표시해주는 장치와 포량감지 방법에 관한것으로, 종래의 세탁기에서의 포량감지 장치와 그 감지방법에 의하면 초기 급수가 선행된 상태에서 포량을 감지하게 되므로 정확한 포량 감지가 어렵고, 세탁물의 특성이나 그 부피에 따라 세탁수속에 잠기지 않고 노출되는 세탁물의 회전, 교반되므로서 세탁물 손상이 발생될 뿐만아니라 이와같이 노출되는 세탁물은 그 포량감지에 장애가되기 때문에 포량감지의 정밀도를 더욱저하시키게되며, 포량에 따른 세제투입량을 표시해주는 수단이 없기 때문에 정확한 세제 투입이 불가능하여 세탁효율을 저하시키게 되는 문제점을 해결하기 위한 것이다.The present invention relates to a device for detecting the amount of laundry (amount of laundry) of the washing machine and to display an appropriate amount of detergent input to the user in response to the detection result, and a quantity detection method.
