Abstract
본 발명은 자기정보 기록 기기의 정보를 자기 매체에 기록하는 박막 자기 헤드의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 좀더 구체적으로 헤드 갭(gap)부위의 상부 또는 하부 자성층의 폴 팁(pole tip)부에 센더스트(sendust)보조 자성층을 상기 상부 또는 하부 자성층의 1/3이하의 두께로 형성함으로서 누설 자속을 증가시켜 기록 효율을 향상시키고 헤드폭 감소로 인하여 기록 밀도가 증가하는 박막 자기 헤드의 제조에 관한 것이다.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a thin film magnetic head for recording information of a magnetic information recording device on a magnetic medium. More specifically, the present invention relates to a senddust of a pole tip portion of an upper or lower magnetic layer of a head gap portion. The present invention relates to the manufacture of a thin film magnetic head in which the auxiliary magnetic layer is formed to a thickness less than 1/3 of the upper or lower magnetic layer to increase the leakage magnetic flux to improve recording efficiency and to increase the recording density due to the reduction of the head width.
본 발명의 제조방법에 의해 헤드갭 부위에서 누설 자속을 증가시켜 기록 효율을 증가시켰으며 고경도의 센더스트가 자성층의 일부를 구성하므로서 헤드의 신뢰도 및 수명이 연장되었고 자성층의 적충 효과에 의해 고주파 영역에서의 와전류손도 감소시켰으며 헤드갭 폭의 감소에 의해 기록 밀도가 증가된 박막 자기 헤드를 제조하였다.The manufacturing method of the present invention increases the recording efficiency by increasing the leakage flux in the head gap area, and the high hardness sendust forms a part of the magnetic layer, thereby extending the reliability and life of the head and increasing the high frequency region by the magnetic layer's replenishment effect.
