Abstract

본 발명은, 영상신호를 트랜스버설필터에 입력하여 고스트보정신호를 발생하고 그 고스트보정신호와 원래의 영상신호를 합성하여 자동적으로 고스트를 제거하는 고스트제거방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다. 고스트제거속도를 향상시키기 위해, 입력된 영상신호와 스트제거기준신호간의 상관연산을 행하고, 그 결과로부터 트랜스버설필터의 초기필터계수를 결정한다.

Claims (3)

  1. 영상신호를 트랜스버설필터에 입력하여 고스트보정신호를 발생하고 이 고스트보정신호와 원래의 영상신호를 합성하여 자동적으로 고스트를 제거하는 고스트제거방법에 있어서, 입력된 영상신호와 고스트제거기준신호간의 상관연산단계와, 상기 상관연산결과로부터 상기 트랜스버설필터의 초기필터계수를 결정하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 고스트제거방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 트랜스버설필터의 초기탭계수가 결정된 이후에는 고스트가 제거된 영상출력신호와 고스트제거기준신호간의 오차신호에 기초하여 탭계수를 보정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 고스트제거방법.
  3. 고스트보정신호를 발생하는 트랜스버설피터부, 상기 고스트보정신호와 영상입력신호를 합성하여 고스트를 제거하는 고스트보정부 및 상기 고스트보정부의 출력과 고스트제거기준신호간의 오차에 기초하여 트랜스버설필터의 필터계수를 보정하는 필터계수보정부를 갖는 고스트제거장치에 있어서, 초기의 영상입력신호와 고스크제거 기준신호의 상관연산을 행하는 상관연산기와, 상기 상관연산결과로부터 상기 트랜스버설필터부의 초기필터 계수를 계산하는 초기필터계수계산부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 고스트제거방법.
