Abstract

The carbon black master batch compsn. is composed of a powder or granule-type carbon black, a linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) as a binder, a silane coupling agent, a polyethylene wax, a Zn-st and a Mg-st. The viscosity of the LLDPE is pref. 15-25. The carbon black master batch is applicable to a thermoplastic resin, i.e. acrylo-butadiene styrene (ABS), polystyrene (PS), polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP), and has a good dispersibility.
