비자성 지지체상에 강자성 분말, 연마재 및 그 밖의 첨가제 등을 결합제 용역에 혼합 분산시켜 제조된 자성도료를 도포한 뒤, 배향, 건조, 카렌다링, 경하, 슬리팅의 공정을 거쳐 자기 기록 매체를 제조하는 방법에 있어서, 상기한 자성도료가 수산기를 함유하는 염화 비닐-초산비닐계 공중합체를 유기 용제에 용해시켜 제조한 습윤용액에 연마재를 투입하여 습윤시키는 제1습윤공정을 행하고 ,여기에 강자성 분말을 투입하여 습윤시키는 제2습윤공정을 행한 뒤, 이들을 1차 분산시키고 이어서 결합제를 첨가하여 2차 분산시키므로써 얻어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 자기기록 매체의 제조 방법.Magnetic recording media prepared by mixing and dispersing ferromagnetic powder, abrasives, and other additives in a binder service on a nonmagnetic support are coated, and then a magnetic recording medium is produced through the process of orientation, drying, calendaring, hardening, and slitting.
