비자성 지지체상에 강자성 분말, 연마재 및 그 밖의 첨가제 등을 결합제 용역에 혼합 분산시켜 제조된 자성도료를 도포한 뒤, 배향, 건조, 카렌다링, 경하, 슬리팅의 공정을 거쳐 자기 기록 매체를 제조하는 방법에 있어서, 상기한 자성도료가 수산기를 함유하는 염화 비닐-초산비닐계 공중합체를 유기 용제에 용해시켜 제조한 습윤용액에 연마재를 투입하여 습윤시키는 제1습윤공정을 행하고 ,여기에 강자성 분말을 투입하여 습윤시키는 제2습윤공정을 행한 뒤, 이들을 1차 분산시키고 이어서 결합제를 첨가하여 2차 분산시키므로써 얻어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 자기기록 매체의 제조 방법.Magnetic recording media prepared by mixing and dispersing ferromagnetic powder, abrasives, and other additives in a binder service on a nonmagnetic support are coated, and then a magnetic recording medium is produced through the process of orientation, drying, calendaring, hardening, and slitting. In the method, the magnetic coating is subjected to a first wetting step in which an abrasive is added to a wet solution prepared by dissolving a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer containing a hydroxyl group in an organic solvent to wet the ferromagnetic powder. A method of producing a magnetic recording medium, characterized in that it is obtained by carrying out a second wetting step of adding and wetting, followed by primary dispersion and then addition of a binder and secondary dispersion.
제1항에 있어서, 상기한 염화비닐-초산비닐계 공중합체가 수산기를 1.8중량%이상 함유한 것임을 특징으로 하는 자기 기록 매체의 제조방법.The method of manufacturing a magnetic recording medium according to claim 1, wherein the vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer contains 1.8 wt% or more of hydroxyl groups.
제1항에 있어서, 상기 연마재가 α-Al2O3, Cr2O3,α-Fe2O3중에서 선택되는 것임을 특징으로 하는 자기 기록 매체의 제조방법.The method of manufacturing a magnetic recording medium according to claim 1, wherein the abrasive is selected from α-Al 2 O 3 , Cr 2 O 3 , and α-Fe 2 O 3 .
제1항에 있어서, 상기한 염화비닐-초산비닐계 공중합체의 첨가량은 강자성 분말 100중량부에 대하여 4.5∼21중량부인 것을 특징으로 하는 자기 기록 매체의 제조방법.The method of manufacturing a magnetic recording medium according to claim 1, wherein the amount of the vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer added is 4.5 to 21 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the ferromagnetic powder.
제1항에 있어서, 1차 분산뒤 첨가하는 상기한 결합재가 폴리우레탄 수지임을 특징으로 하는 자기 기록 매체의 제조방법.The method of manufacturing a magnetic recording medium according to claim 1, wherein said binder added after primary dispersion is a polyurethane resin.
