Claims (8)

  1. 촉매를 포함하는 구리에 수소와 함께 지방 에스테르를 통과시켜 지방 알코올을 제조하는 방법으로서, 촉매는 그 활성을 유지시키기 위해 수증기로 처리되는 것을 특징으로 하는 지방 알코올의 제조방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 지방 에스테르와 물을 수소와 함께 촉매에 통과시키는 것을 특징으로하는 제조방법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 지방 알코올 생성물내에 혼입된 물을 지방 알코올 생성물로부터 연속적으로 제거시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 단계적으로 수행하는 제조방법으로서, 제1단계로 지방 에스테르와 수소를 촉매에 통과시키고, 제2단계로 이 촉매에 수증기를 통과시킨후, 제3단계로 이 촉매에 지방 에스테르와 수소를 추가로 통과시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 촉매는 구리－아연 촉매인 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 촉매는 환원된 CuO/ZnO촉매인 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 지방 에스테르는 지방산 메틸 에스테르인 것을 특징으로 하는 제조방법.
  8. 제2및 제7항에 있어서, 지방 알코올 생성물내에 혼입된 물과 또한 반응중에형성되는 메탄올을 함께 지방 알코올 생성물로부터 분리시키는 것을 특징으로하는 제조방법.
