냉장고는 하부에 출입식으로 증발접시가 설치되어 냉각기에서 제상시 발생되는 제상수를 배수호스를 통해 증발접시로 배수키셔 증발접시에서 압축기의 고열이나 또는 고온의 냉매가 통과하는 냉매파이프의 열에 의하거나 자연증발에 의해 증발 되도록 하었던바, 종래에는 냉장고의 하부에 바닥판을 부착하열 그 상부에 단순히 사각체로된 증발접시를 출입가능하게 설치하고 바닥판 하부에 고온의 냉매가 통과하는 냉매파이프를 설치하여 증발접시로 떨어진 제상수를 증발시킬 수 있도록 하였다. 그러나 증발접시가 견고하게 결합되지 않아 증발접시 후방에 설치된 압축기의 진동이 증발접시에 전달되어 소음이 발생하고, 뿐만 아니라 압축기에 증발접시가 근접되게 결합되지 못하고, 또한 외부의 공기가 증발접시 내부로 원활하게 유입되지 못해 압축기의 냉각효과가 만족하지 못하였고 제상수의 증발효과도 좋지못한 페단이 있었다.The refrigerator has an evaporation plate installed at the bottom and drains the defrost water generated during defrosting from the cooler to the evaporation plate through the drainage hose.
