The present invention relates to a filter replacement instruction circuit of an air cleaner that detects an amount of dust filtered by a filter and instructs replacement of the filter in an air cleaner for cleaning indoor air.

Conventional air cleaners do not indicate when a large amount of dust is filtered out, but only when operating power is applied. Therefore, the user does not know when a large amount of dust is caught in the filter and does not function properly. Not only did the air cleaner not only drive a lot of noise, there is a problem that the fan motor for circulating the indoor air is overheated and damaged as well as unable to keep the indoor air clean.

The present invention, in view of the conventional problems as described above, by detecting the amount of dust filtered on the filter with a pressure sensor, and displays a large amount of dust filtered on the filter to instruct the replacement of the filter as well as to stop the operation of the air cleaner. The present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

The accompanying drawings show a filter replacement instruction circuit diagram of the present invention, and the oscillation integrated device 1 oscillating with time constants of the resistors R 1 and R 2 and the capacitors C 1 and C 2 , as shown in FIG. It consists of a transformer (T), a diode (D 1 , D N ) and a capacitor (C 1 , C N ) for boosting the oscillation signal of the oscillation dust collecting element 1 and rectifying the double voltage to output a high-voltage dust collection voltage to the dust collecting unit. The dust collecting voltage output unit 2, the pressure sensor SE which detects the amount of dust filtered by the filter by the wind speed of air passing through the filter as the fan motor is driven, and the amount of dust of the filter detected by the pressure sensor SE To switch off the operation power of the filter replacement display unit 3 including the resistors R 3 and R 4 , the transistor TR 1 , and the light emitting diode LD and the oscillation integrated device 1. Resistors (R 5 , R 6 ), photocouplers (PC) and

To the transistor (TR 2) operating power supply was constructed to cut off part (4).

In the above, the pressure sensor SE is short-circuited when the amount of dust filtered by the filter is small, and the air velocity passing through the filter is short. Vcc is the operating power supply.

The present invention configured as described above has a small amount of dust filtered through the filter while the operating power supply (Vcc) is applied, and thus the wind speed of the air passing through is fast and the pressure sensor (SE) detects the short-circuit state. It is applied to the base of transistor TR 1 through SE and resistor R 4 , so transistor TR 1 is turned off, light emitting diode LD is not lit, and operating power supply Vcc is pressure sensor SE. Is applied to the photodiode PD of the photocoupler PC through the resistor R 5 and emits light, and the light receiving transistor PT is turned on so that the transistor TR 2 is turned on. It is applied to the power supply terminal V of the oscillating integrated device 1 via TR 2 .

Therefore, the oscillation integrated device 1 is oscillated, the oscillation signal is boosted by the transformer T, rectified by the diode D 1 -D N and the capacitor C 11 -C 1N , and the high voltage is collected by the dust collector. The output of the dust collection voltage, that is, the air purifier operates normally to clean the indoor air.

On the other hand, if the amount of dust filtered by the filter is slow and the air velocity passing therethrough is low, and the pressure sensor SE detects this and becomes open, a low potential is applied to the base of the transistor TR 1 on the contrary. Since the light emitting diode LD is turned on to instruct the replacement of the filter, and the photodiode PD of the photocoupler PC is not turned on, the phototransistor PT is turned off and the transistor TR 2 is turned off. The operating power source Vcc is not applied to the oscillation integrated device 1.

Therefore, oscillation of the oscillation integrated device 1 is stopped, and the dust collection voltage output unit 2 outputs a low voltage, that is, driving of the air cleaner is stopped.

As described in detail above, the present invention detects a large amount of dust filtered on the filter, instructs the filter to be replaced, and stops the air purifier operation. It is possible to keep the air clean, and to reduce the generation of noise as well as to prevent overheating of the fan motor and to extend the service life of the air cleaner.
