한문교습책자
제1도는 본 고안의 실시예도.
본 고안은 어린이들에게 쉽고 빠르고 또 재미있게 한문을 교육시키게 한 한문교습책자에 관한 것이다. 우리나라에서 한문교육은 한때 등한시 했으나 현재는 이 한문을 모르면 신문, 전문서적등을 읽지 못할 정도여서 국어와 함께 필수적으로 배워야하는 것이다. 그러나 기초교육과정에서 국어조차 잘모르는 어린이들에게 또는 한문을 처음 배우는 어른들에게도 상형문자의 조합은 판독이 난이하여 그 음과 뜻이 여러번 듣고 읽어도 쉽게 기억되지 않는 것이어서 단순암기식 한문교육은 아주 어렵고 하기 싫은 공부인 것이다.
본 고안은 한문교육에 관한 이러한 애로에 착안하여 상형문자의 원시이론을 현대에 맞게 재구성하여 이를 연상으로서 쉽게 기억되며 또 독특한 인상이 남아 잊어버리지 않게 할뿐 아니라 만화적 분위기를 형성시켜 재미있게 공부할 수 있게 한 것이다.
이하 고안의 요지를 그 실시예인 첨부 도면에 연계시켜 설명하면 다음과 같다.
책자의 한쪽에는 "사물(1)+사물(2)" "한자의 변(3)+사물(4)" "한자전체(5)+분위기그림(6)"의 조합으로 구성하고 그 옆에 그 한자의 음과 뜻을 기재하는 공간(7)을 표기한 책자에 관한 것이다. 이와같이 된 본 고안은 제1도 (a)는 "사람(人)"+"나무(木)"의 결합으로 나무밑에 사람이 쉰다는 "쉴휴"로 쉽게 연상되고 (b)는 성가(哥)+노래하는 그림의 결합으로 노래할가(歌)로 연상되며 (c)은 물 즉 삼수변(水)과 태양 즉 날일(日) 및 그릇(血)의 결합이면 그릇에 담긴 물이 태양아래 있으면 따뜻할온(溫)이다 라는 연상으로 쉽게 교습되는 것이다.
또 (d) 그림과 같이 한자전체와 분위기 그림으로서 그 뜻을 추리시킬 수 있는 것이다. 교육단계가 조금 고도해지면 연상그림이 약간 모호해도 이를 풀어보려는 재미와 함께 추리력을 향상시킴으로서 지능개발에도 도움이 되고 흡사 만화를 보는 듯한 기분으로서 재미있게 한자를 공부할 수 있는 것이다.
