도트 매트릭스 프린터에 있어서, 중앙 처리 장치(10)중의 연산 장치(10A) 내의 A 레지스터에 폰트 롬(20)의 인자 하고자 하는 어드레스 값(ADRL)을 삽입하고, 이 어드레스를 내부 어드레스/데이타 버스를 통하여 전송하여 어드레스 버퍼(10D)에 A 레지스터의 내용을 적재하고, 상기 연산 장치(10A)에서 어드레스 라인(ADRL)을 인에이블 시켜주면 폰트 롬(20)의 인자 하고자 하는 어드레스가 연결 되도록 하고, 읽기/써넣기 신호()를 하이 액티브 상태로 하여 해당 어드레스에 속하는 데이타가 데이타 버스를 통하여 중앙 처리 장치(10)내의 데이타 버퍼(10C)에 배치하고, 이와 같이 데이타 버퍼(10C)에 래치된 상태에서 A 레지스터에 램(30A),(30B)으로부터의 저장하고자 하는 어드레스 값을 삽입하고 어드레스 버퍼(10D)에 저장 시킨후에 어드레스 라인을 인에이블 시켜 읽기/써넣기 신호()를 로우 액티브 상태로 하여 데이타 버퍼(10C)의 내용이 램(30A),(30B)에 저장하며, 상기에서와 같은 상태를 72회 반복하여 폰트 롬(20)의 내용이 램(30A),(30B)에 그대로 저장되도록 하고, 상기 램(30A),(30B)에 저장된 데이타를 첫번째 어드레스로부터 재차 중앙처리장치(10)중의 연산장치(10A)내의 D레지스터에 적재하여 4단계로 오어링(Oring)의 값을 변경 시키는 순서적인 임의의 값과 오어링하여 출력되는 값을 재차 상기 램(30A),(30B)내부에 저장하는 과정으로 이루어 지는 도트 매트릭스 프린터에서의 음영 문자의 인자 방식.In the dot matrix printer, an address value ADRL to be printed of the font ROM 20 is inserted into an A register in the arithmetic unit 10A of the central processing unit 10, and this address is transmitted through an internal address / data bus.
