Claims (6)

1종의 글리신을 출발원료로 하는 N-포스포노메틸 글리신의 제조에 있어서, 글리신과 파라포름알데히드를 트리에틸아민의 존재하, C1∼C2알칸올 중에서 반응시킨 반응물과 디알킬 하이드로겐 포스파이트 또는 일부가 모노 알킬 하이드로겐 포스파이트로 변화된 저순도 디알킬 하이드로겐 포스파이트의 어느 하나를 55℃ 이하의 온도에서 반응시키고, 선택적으로 N-(N-히드록시메틸)포스포노메틸글리신 알킬 에스테르만으로 한후, 50℃ 이하에서 HCl과 반응시켜 탈 메틸롤 및 부분적으로 탈 알킬화하고 pH 7.0~7.5에서 알칸올을 증류시켜 알킬랄을 함유하지 않는 알칸올을 수득하고 잔류물에 HCl을 가하여 환류 온도에서 탈알킬화를 완성한 후, 알칼리로 중화시킴을 특징으로 하는 N-포스포노메틸글리신을 제조하는 방법.
제 1 항에 있어서, 글리신과 파라포름알데히드와의 반응에서 얻어진 비스-N,N-히드록시메틸글리신과 디알킬하이드로겐 포스파이트 또는 모노알킬 하이드로겐 포스파이트를 함유하는 저순도 디알킬하이드로겐포스파이트와의 반응이 55℃ 이하, 바람직하기로는 50 내지 20℃에서 수행되는 방법.
제 1 항에 있어서, 디알킬하이드로겐포스파이트의 모노알킬하이드로겐포스파이트에 대한 변화의 고저에 관계없이 상기 제 2 항의 반응 조건으로 반응시키는 방법.
제 1 항에 있어서, 알칸올이 C1∼C2알코올인 방법.
제 1 항에 있어서, 알칸올의 사용이 글리신에 대하여 9∼15배인 방법.
제 1 내지 3항 중의 어느 하나에 있어서, 디알킬하이드로겐포스파이트가 하기식(I)로 표시되고, 모노알킬하이드로겐포스파이트가 하기식(II)로 표시되는 방법.
상기식에서 R은 C1∼C2의 알킬이다.
