Claims (7)
- 4400rpm 및 105°F에서 400,000dyne cm/cm spring 및 으로 Hercules Hi Shear 점도계상에서 측정한 것으로 80cps 이상의 점도 및 65 내지 75중량%의 고체 함량은 가지며, 100 내지 40중량%의 점토와 0 내지 60중량%의, 탄산칼슘, 삼수화알루미늄, 이산화티탄 및 황산바륨으로 이루어진 그룹에서 선택된, 하나 또는 그 이상의 성분으로 이루어진 95 내지 85중량%의 조성물; 그리고 C1-C4알킬기 또는 연소원자에 의해 치환 또는 비치환된 55 내지 65중량%의 C8-C12비닐 방향족 단량체, 염소원자에 의해 치환 또는 비치환된 30 내지 40중량%의 직쇄 또는 측쇄의 C4-C6콘쥬게이트 디올레핀, 그리고 4 내지 10중량%의 하나 또는 그 이상의 에틸렌 적으로 불포화된 카르복실산의 인터폴리머로 이루어지며 10% CaCl2에 노출되는 때에는 0.5중량% 이하의 응고를 내는 5 내지 15건조중량%의 라텍스로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 종이 코팅 조성물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 4400rpm 및 105°F에서 400,000dyne cm/cm spring 및 E bob으로 Hercules Hi Shear 점도계상에서 측정한 것으로 20 내지 70cpg의 점도 및 65 내지 70중량%의 고체함량을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 종이 코팅 조성물.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기의 중합체가 4 : 1 내지 6 : 1의 모노-대 디-카르복실산의 중량비로 모노- 및 디-카르복실산을 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 종이 코팅 조성물.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기의 중합체가 58 내지 62중량%의 스티렌; 32 내지 36중량%의 부타디엔; 그리고 아크릴산, 메타크릴산, 이타콘산 및 푸마르산으로 이루어진 그룹에서 선택된 5 내지 7중량%의 하나 또는 그 이상의 카르복실산으로 이루어진 것임을 특징으로 하는 종이 코팅 조성물.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기의 코팅조성물은 2미크론 이하의 평균 입자 크기를 갖는 70 내지 80중량%의 점토, 2미크론 이하의 평균 입자 크기를 갖는 30 내지 20중량%의 탄산칼슘 및 5 내지 15중량%의 상기의 중합체로 이루어진 것임을 특징으로 하는 종이 코팅조성물.
- #4 잉크로 측정한 것으로 450m/sec 이하의 IGT피크를 가지며 제4항에 따른 8 내지 15Ib/3300ft2의 코팅조성물로 코팅된 종이.
