Claims (47)

(a) a fuel body; (b) physically separated aerosol-generating means comprising at least one aerosol-forming substance; and (c) a separate means for delivering the aerosol generated in the aerosol-generating means to the smoker, the delivery means comprising a carbon-filled sheet material for releasing at least one perfume. 2. A smoking article according to claim 1, wherein the aerosol-generating means comprises a piece of carbon-filled sheet material disposed between the aerosol-generating means and the filter plug and a water bill piece comprising the filter plug. 3. A smoking article according to claim 2, wherein the carbon filled sheet material is cylindrical. 3. A smoking article according to claim 2, wherein the carbon filled sheet material is shredded. 5. A smoking article according to claim 1, 2, 3 or 4 wherein the carbon content in the sheet material is between about 5 and 75% by weight. 6. A smoking article according to claim 5, wherein the carbon content in the sheet material is between about 10 and 40 weight percent. 6. A smoking article according to claim 5, wherein the carbon content in the sheet material is between about 15 and 30% by weight. 4. A smoking product according to claim 3, wherein the perfume is menthol up to about 0.001% by weight to saturation. 9. The aerosol-generating means according to claim 26, wherein a molten piece comprising a piece of carbonaceous tobacco-containing sheet material of 5 to 30 mm length and a filter plug of 10 to 40 mm length disposed between the aerosol-generating means and the filter plug is included in the aerosol-generating means.
