Claims (4)

  1. 여기 장치와 함께 활성 매질을 함유하는 엔벨로프 및 이 엔벨로프의 종축과 광학적으로 배열된 제1 및 제2 공진기 반사경을 갖고 있고 출력이 공진기 반사경으로부터 내부 반사 표면들 상에 입사하는 광선이 임계각에 관련된 각도로 입사하도록 제1 및 제2 공진기 반사경 사이에 삽입 배열되는 프리즘 Q-스위치를 통해 결합되는 레이저 장치, 및 프리즘 Q-스위치를 회전시켜 프리즘이 임계각을 통해 회전될 때 프리즘에 관련된 광학 손실을 변화시킴으로써 레이저의 공진기 이득이 주기적으로 스위치되게 하기 위한 장치로 구성되고, 활성매질의 여기와 프리즘이 임계각을 통해 회전하는 시간 사이의 타이밍 관계가 고 피이크 전력의 레이저 펄스를 제공하도록 배열되는 것을 특징으로 하는 펄스 레이저 장치의 출력을 제어하기 위한 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 프리즘이 레이저 비임이 임계각 근처에서 내부 반사되는 2개의 평행 표면들을 갖고 있는 인입면 및 배출면으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 레이저가 CO2TEA레이저로 구성되고, 프리즘이 임계각을 통해 회전될 때 광학 손실이 고 손실로부터 거의 0으로 스위치되고 활성매질의 여기와 임계각을 통하는 프리즘의 회전 사이의 타이밍 관계가 레이저 펄스를 활성 매질내의 최대 이득 근처에서 발생시키도록 조정되게 하는 방식으로 Q-스위치 프리즘이 회전되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 레이저가 CO2TEA레이저로 구성되고, 프리즘이 임계각을 통해 회전될 때 광학 손실이 거의 0으로 부터 고 손실로 스위치되고 활성매질의 여기와 임계각을 통하는 프리즘의 회전 사이의 타이밍 관계가 레이저를 거의 0손실로 이득 스위치시키고 테일의 개시시에 고 손실로 스위칭시킴으로써 펄스의 질소테일 부분을 방지하도록 조정되는 방식으로 Q-스위치 프리즘이 회전되는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
