본 고안은 테니스 공을 라켓 몸체에 전달되는 충격 또는 진동이 라켓 손잡이에는 최대한 전달되지 않도록 구성한 테니스 라켓 손잡이에 관한 것이다.
현재 사용되고 있는 라켓 손잡이는 통상적으로 몸체의 후미에 형성된 파수부 외부에 우레탄 발포제를 일정한 길이와 두께로 부착하고 그 표면으로 합성수지제 케이스를 결합하여 형성하며 합성수지제 케이스 표면에는 가죽이나 기타 유연한 재질의 밴드를 감아서 손잡이를 형성하였는 바 테니스 공을 칠 때 생기는 충격 또는 진동을 손잡이에 매입된 우레탄 발포제가 흡수 완충하여 파수부에서 손잡이 부분인 합성수지제 케이스에 전달되지 못하도록 하였으나, 단순히 몸체후미의 파수부와 합성수지제 케이스 사이에 우레탄 발포제만을 부착한 구성으로는 충격이나 진동작용을 효과적으로 제거하지 못해 전문 선수들의 경우 팔목에 가중되는 피로도가 심하였고 특히 초보자의 경우 잘못하면 심하게 팔목을 상하는 경우가 허다하였다.
본 고안은 이와같은 결점을 제거하고저 한 것으로서 이를 첨부도면에 의해 상세히 설명하면 다음과 같다.
몸체(1) 후미의 파수부(2)주위에 우레탄 발포제(3)를 일정한 길이와 두께로 부착하고 그 표면으로 합성수지제 케이스(4)를 결합한 통상의 것에 있어서 우레탄 발포제 (3)와 합성수지제 케이스(4) 사이에 발포성 스폰지(5)를 공간부(7)가 형성되게 내착하여 된 것으로서 도면중 미설명부호(6)은 가죽이나 유연한 재질을 감은 밴드층이다.
이와같이 형성된 본고안은 테니스 공을 칠때 순간적인 충격이나 진동이 매우 강하게 몸체(1)의 파수부(2)에 전달되나 파수부(2)와 손에 접지되는 합성수지케이스(4) 사이에는 우레탄 발포제(3)와 그 외부로 공간부(7)가 형성된 발포성 스폰지(5)가 매입되어 있어 파수부(2)에 전달된 강한 충격이나 진동이 1적으로 우레탄 발포제(3)에 의해 흡수 제거된 후 우레탄 발포제(3)에서 제거되지 못한 충격이나 진동을 완충력이 매우 양호한 발포성 스폰지(5)가 2차적으로 흡수 제거하여 주며, 발포성 스폰지(5) 사이에는 공간부(7)를 형성하여 그 접지면적을 최대한 줄였기 때문에 합성수지제 케이스 (4)로 전달되려는 충격이나 진동을 매우 효과적으로 제거할 수 있는 것이다.
이와같이 본고안은 우레탄 발포제(3)외부로 별도의 발포성 스폰지(5)를 공간부 (7)가 형성되게 부착하여 구성하므로서 몸체(1)와 일체로 된 파수부(2)의 충격이나 진동을 이중으로 양호하게 완충 흡수하야 사용자의 팔목 등에 가중되는 피로는 물론 부상등의 위험을 최대한도로 줄일 수 있고 발포성 스폰지(5)는 중량이 가볍기 때문에 라켓의 중량을 결정하는 데 차지하는 비중이 적어 이상적으로 사용할 수 있는 것이다.

  1. 몸체(1) 후미의 파수부(2) 주위에 우레탄 발포제(3)를 부착하고 그 표면으로 합성수지제 케이스(4)를 결합한 것에 있어서 우레탄 발포제(3)와 합성수지제 케이스 (4)사이에 발포성 스폰지(5)를 공간부(7)가 형성되게 내착하여 됨을 특징으로 하는 테니스 라켓 손잡이.
