이와같은 본 고안의 작용효과는 다음과 같다. 제3도 및 제4도에 도시한 바와같이 본 고안의 오링(4)을 오링 삽입홈(2b)에 삽입시킨 축수너트(2)를 회전축(3)의 일측부가 끼워지도록 축수 체결공(1b)에 결합시키면 오링(4)의 내, 외주면에 돌설된 호형돌조(4a)(4b)(4c) 및 (4a')(4b')(4c') 들의 회전축(3)의 외주면과 삽입홈(2b)의 내면에 긴밀히 압착되면서 그 호형돌조들은 제4도에 화살표로 도시한 바와같이 내, 외 주면의 호형골(4d)(4e) 및 (4d')(4e')쪽으로 팽창하게 된다. 따라서 이와같은 본 고안 오링(4)은 다수개의 호형돌조(4a)(4b)(4c), (4a')(4b')(4c')들이 회전축(3) 외주면과 축수너트(2) 내주면에 호형골(4d)(4e),(4d')(4e')을 사이에 두고 격리되어 압착되고 있기 때문에 종래의 원형 단면으로 된 오링(4)에 비하여 회전축(3)과의 접촉면이 크게 늘고 또한 구조상 오링(4)의 내측에 돌설된 호형돌조(4a)(4a')가 기름과의 장기간 접촉으로 인해 경화되어 누유방지력이 떨어지게 되더라도 가운데와 외측의 호형돌조(4b)(4b'), (4c)(4c')에 의해서 누유방지 기능이 이루어지고, 또한 내측 호형돌조(4a)(4a')와 가운데 호형돌조(4b)(4b')가 모두 경화되어 누유방지력이 떨어지더라도 외측의 호형돌조(4c)(4c')에 의해서 누유방지 기능을 계속 갖게 되므로 마치 원형단면의 오링을 복수개 설치한 것과 같은 누유방지 효과를 기대할 수 있으며, 장기간 사용으로 인해 오링(4)의 호형돌조( 4a)(4b)(4c), (4a')(4b')(4c')들이 마모되면 호형골(4d)(4e), (4d')(4e')쪽으로 압축되어 있던 부분들이 다시 팽창되어 회전축(3)의 외주면과 축수너트(2) 내주면에 대한 접촉상태를 양호하게 하므로 사용수명이 연장되는 이점이 있다.The effect of the present invention is as follows.
