전열등을 소등한 상태에서 오디오기의 튜닝지침위치를 확인하거나 조절하기 위하여 전열등을 다시 켜야하는 번거러움을 해걸하기 위하여는 오디오기내에 별도의 조명장치가 요구되었던 것이어서 종래에는 오디오기내에 결착되는 다이알스케일 저면 중앙위치에 램프(LAMP)를 설치하여 전열등 소등시 튜닝을 조절하거나 튜닝의 위치를 확인하고자 할때 별도의 스윗치를 압압하여 확인할 수 있도록 된 것이 있으나, 이는 램프에서 발광되는 빛이 스케일 전체에 미치지 못하므로 스케일 중앙부위는 확인할 수는 있으나 양측단을 확인할 수 없었다. 다이알스케일내의 표시부에서 이동되는 지침에 램프를 착설하여 발광되는 램프의 빛으로 튜닝의 조절 및 확인을 할 수 있도록 된 것이 있으나 이는 제작 및 조립과정이 어려울 뿐만 아니라 스케일 전체를 확인할 수 없으며 양자 공히 다이알스케일에 양갹된 표시부 전체를 확인할 수 없었던 것이다.In order to avoid the hassle of turning on the electric lamp again to check or adjust the position of the tuning instructions of the audio device while the electric light is turned off, a separate lighting device was required in the audio device.
