본 고안은 여러가지 톱 가운데서 금속부재를 절단하는데에 사용하는 금속절단용 톱에 관한 것으로, 특히 톱 몸체의 톱날주위 표면에 적절한 방법으로 미세한 초경합금 가루를 부착시켜 줌으로써 톱의 수명을 연장함과 동시에 톱의 절단효율을 향상시키도록 한 것이다. 종래에는 이러한 급속절단용 톱을 만들때 강자체를 열처리하여 비교적 높은 강도와 내마모성을 부여한 공구강을 그대로 가공제작하였는데 이와 같이 만들어낸 톱은 일반 목재용 톱에 비해 그 강도와 내마모성이 매우 높다하겠으나 단단한 금속부재를 장시간에 걸쳐 절단해내기는 아직 톱날의 강도가 미흡하고, 절단 작업시 톱날의 표면이 금속부재에 직접 접촉마찰됨으로써 장시간의 절삭작업에 따른 톱날 온도의 상승과 함께 이른바 열기전력현상이 크게 유발되어 톱날의 수명이 급속히 짧아지므로 톱을 자주 교체해 주어야 하는 것등의 폐단이 있었다.The present invention relates to a metal cutting saw used to cut a metal member among various saws, and in particular, by attaching fine cemented carbide powder to the surface around the saw blade of the saw body in an appropriate manner to extend the life of the saw and at the same time It is to improve the cutting efficiency.
