Claims (3)
- 각각 미리 설정된 조건을 측정할 수 있는 적어도 두 개의 감지기(14)를 포함하며 미리 설정된 조건을 감시하기 위한 장치에 있어서, 상기 장치는 전기적으로 절연되고 물리적으로 분리되어 있는 적어도 두 개의 여유논리채널(18)을 포함하며, 적어도 두 개의 감지기 각각을 그와 관련된 논리채널에 연결하기 위한 장치(16)와, 상기 적어도 두 개의 여유논리채널(18)의 각각은 그와 관련된 감지기(14)로부터 전기적 신호에 응답하여 변화하는 빛전달 특성을 가지고 있는 전기광학 변조기(24)를 포함하며, 상기 적어도 두 개의 여유논리채널을 연속적으로 연결하는 파이버 옵틱장치(30, 26, 34)와, 파이버 옵틱장치에 연결된 광원(28)과, 그리고 광원(28)에서 발생되고 적어도 두 개의 전기광학 변조기(24)에 의해 변조된 광신호를 수용하기 위해 파이버 옵틱장치에 연결된 광측정장치(32) 등을 특징으로 하는 미리 설정된 조건을 감시하기 위한 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 전기광학 변조기(24)의 각각은 공동축을 따라 빛전달축과 함께 있는 전기광학 변조매개체(26)의 기다란 부재를 포함하고 있으며, 입력편광기(40)은 기다란 부재의 입력단부에 공동축을 따라 배열되었고 또한 기다란 부재의 빛전달축에 정해진 각도로 현광축을 가지고 있으며, 출력편광기(42)는 기다란 부재의 출력단부에 공동축을 따라 배열되었고 또한 입력편광기(40)의 각으로부터 90° 상쇄된 편광축을 가지고 있으며, 여기서 감지기(14)로 부터의 전기적 신호를 기다란 부재(36)를 가로질러 빛전달 축에 직각으로 적용되는 것 등을 특징으로 하는 장치.
