Receiver overheating protection circuit

The accompanying drawings are circuit diagrams of the subject innovation.

The present invention relates to an overheat protection circuit used in a receiver such as a conventional radio, television.

Conventionally, there has been a device for protecting a device by attaching a separate insulation plate when overheating occurs in a device such as a power transistor and an SCR of a receiver circuit due to overcurrent, but it is an automatic method for preventing a specific part of a receiving circuit from being damaged due to overheating. There was no protection circuit.

The present invention has been devised to prevent the life of the device and the device is shortened or damaged due to an increase in temperature due to an overcurrent in a specific portion of the receiver circuit as described above.

The structure of the present invention attaches a diode (D 1 ) for sensing the temperature of a specific temperature rising part to a specific part and connects it to the base of the transistor (T 1 ) of a differential amplifier composed of transistors (T 1 , T 2 ). and, a transistor (T 2) and the collector is connected to the base and emitter of the transistor (T 3), and the collector of the transistor (T 3) is respectively connected to the collector and base of the transistor (T 5) (T 4) , The emitter of the transistor T 5 is connected to the LED D 2 via a capacitor C 1 and a resistor R 1 , and the emitter of the transistor T 7 is connected to the collector of the transistor T 3 . The collector and its base are connected to the collectors of relay Ry, LED D 2 and transistor T 6 , respectively, and the collector and base of transistor T 1 is applied with direct current + 10V and emitter in the DC -22V, one terminal of the resistor (R1) is AC 32V, the transistor (T 7) It is applied to emitter DC + 45V.

The present invention of such a configuration is attached to a characteristic portion to sense the temperature sensing diode (D 1 ) and the potential of the point A is adjusted to correspond to the desired temperature higher than the potential of the point B so that the transistor (T) is normally used. 1 ) is activated.

At this time, as the receiver operates, the temperature of the portion where the diode D 1 is attached increases, so that the potential of the point A is lowered and the potential of the point B is higher.

Therefore, when the negative temperature to which the temperature sensing diode D 1 is attached becomes higher than the temperature set as the reference value, the potential of the point B becomes higher than the potential of the point A so that the transistor T 2 operates. When the transistor T 2 operates, the transistors T 3 , T 4 , and T 5 operate in sequence, and the transistor T is turned off.

Therefore, the transistor T 7 is also turned off so that the AC 32V power is applied to the LED D 2 to illuminate the light and turn off the relay RY.

At this time, the switch S driven by the relay RY is installed at the speaker input terminal, and the current flowing in the receiver is drastically reduced due to the speaker input terminal being opened, so that the temperature of the specific part is lowered and the temperature is lowered. As a result, the potential of the point A rises, and when the potential of the point A becomes higher than the potential of the point B, the transistor T 1 is operated so that the transistor T 2 is turned OFF and the transistors T 3 , T 4 , and T 5 . Is turned OFF, and after the time constant period of the differential circuit composed of resistor R 1 and capacitor C 1 , transistors T 6 and T 7 are operated so that LED D 2 turns off and relay RY ) Is activated and the switch (S) is connected so that the normal operation is performed again.

At this time, whether the receiver is operating or not can be confirmed by the LED (D 2 ).

Thus, by attaching the present invention to devices and electronic devices due to overheating, it is possible to automatically prevent certain parts of the receiver from being overheated and damaged by overcurrent.
