Abstract
3-[1-Hydroxy-2-(3-or 4-hydroxypiperidino)ethyl)-5-phenylisoxazole were prepd. by reaction of 3-(1,2-epoxyethyl)-5-phenylisoxazole of 3-(1-hydroxy-2-active group substituted ethyl)-5-phenyl-isoxazole with 3-or 4-hydroxypiperidino) acetyl-5-phenylisoxazole at 0-200≰C and reduction of 3-(3-or 4-hydroxypiperidino) acetyl-5-phenylisoxazole or 3-(3-or 4-ketopiperidino)-acetyl-phenylisoxazole at 0-100≰C. Isoxazole derivs. had antipyretic, analgesic, antiinflammatory, and anticonvulsant activities.
