Abstract
Through this invention, parts of the left and right binocular vision are restricted to both eyes simultaneously or only to one eye, thereby preventing the object from being fully visible with only one eye's field of view, and at the same time, recognizing an object in the obscured field of view requires the cooperation of the opposite eye. By continuously guiding it, it is possible to prevent monocular vision caused by functional inhibition (ignorance) of the brain caused by focusing on an object with only one eye. In addition, a light source composed of phosphorescent pigments that are harmless to the human body installed on both left and right ends of the device. The purpose is to help people prevent suppression by making them aware that the light source disappears from their field of vision when suppression occurs in one eye out of binocular vision.
Description
This design is about a device that helps people maintain binocular vision, where they see images with both left and right eyes, and provides monocular vision corresponding to binocular vision. It is a device to prevent monocular vision and eventually blind spots (reduced field of view, impaired distance perception, decreased visual acuity, strabismus, etc.) caused by monocular vision.
Normal binocular vision refers to a state in which when both eyes look at the same point through the cooperative action of both eyes, the images seen by both left and right eyes are fused and recognized as a single object in the brain. This invention By limiting part of the left and right binocular vision to both eyes at the same time or to only one eye, it prevents the object from being fully visible with only one eye's field of vision, and at the same time, continuously induces a state in which cooperation of the other eye is required to recognize objects in the obscured field of view. Thus, it is possible to prevent monocular vision caused by functional inhibition (ignorance) of the brain caused by focusing on an object with only one eye, and also, by using a light source composed of phosphorescent pigments that are harmless to the human body installed on both left and right ends of the device, binocular vision can be achieved. The goal is to help people prevent suppression by becoming aware that the light source disappears from their field of vision when suppression occurs in one eye.
The ultimate solution of this design is to maintain normal binocular vision and prevent various blind spots (reduced field of view, impaired distance perception, decreased visual acuity, occurrence of strabismus, etc.) caused by the progression of monocular vision.
When looking at video media such as TV or mobile phones with both eyes for a long time, the alignment of the pupils is disturbed due to various reasons such as differences in visual acuity between the two eyes or differences in the strength of the eye muscles. As a result, the images seen in both eyes are different, hindering fusion, and the brain instinctively In order to prevent this confusion, the image of one of the two eyes is suppressed (ignored) and only the opposite image is recognized, and the process of gradual degeneration of the suppressed eye occurs frequently, especially in children. However, the preventive measure against the progression of monocular vision is simply There are only passive measures such as limiting or avoiding viewing time and distance. Therefore, through the use of this design, many people can easily wear it to prevent the progression from binocular vision to monocular vision.
The main body (1) of the present invention is located at the center of the distance between both eyes, and includes left and right vision blocking plate wings (10) that can partially block the field of view of both eyes, grooves 1 for inserting and separating them, and a fixed rotating plate (30). ), which consists of grooves 2 that can be inserted and connected, and a fixed rotating plate ( 30), a luminous spot (40) attached to the vision blocking plate wing (10) for the purpose of awareness when suppression (ignorance) occurs, and the eyepiece body (1) is attached to the glasses bridge and located at the center of the distance between both eyes. It consists of pin tongs (50) that secure it.
Initially, for the purpose of treating diseases (strabismus, amblyopia, myopia, etc.), occlusion therapy was used to completely block one normal field of vision with a occlusion patch and encourage gaze with only one eye for treatment purposes, or by using a shielding frame for avoidance purposes built on glasses. There are devices that forcibly induce the alignment of the eye with strabismus, but these are all designed for the purpose of treating some diseases that have already developed, and are limited to simply inducing forced, physical, and repetitive eye muscle movements, whereas the present invention The device is progressive in shielding technology in that it induces normal binocular vision using the visual fusion function of the brain and thereby prevents diseases caused by monocular vision in advance.
Depending on the distance between both eyes and the main object being looked at, the amount of vision blocked by the present device needs to be adjusted. That is, both pupils gather toward the center to adjust focus as the object distance becomes closer, so the vision blocking plate wings ( If 10) does not respond to this, it will be difficult to expect function due to excessive blocking of the field of vision. To solve this problem, a fixed rotating plate (30) was connected to the blocking plate fixer (20) to rotate the view blocking plate wings (10) up and down to create a blocking view corresponding to the distance of the object.
The light source installed in the main body of the present invention (1) to induce awareness as soon as inhibition (ignorance) occurs in one eye is used. If an LED light source that requires power is used, harmful problems to the human body due to electromagnetic waves and vision are avoided. Since management problems such as deterioration, replacement of parts, and charging occur, the main body of the present invention (1) is designed by installing a luminous spot (40) that does not require power supply and uses a luminous light source made of luminous paint that is harmless to the human body. When the main body (1) is not worn, it is stored in a luminescent device to continuously maintain a light source.
The main body (1) of the present invention must be located on the bridge of the nose between both eyes of the user, but due to the structure of the human body, it is difficult to fix the main body (1) in that position independently, so the main body (1) is fixed to the bridge of a regular eyeglass frame. The solution was solved for simple use by fastening using pin tongs (50). In other words, people who already use glasses for corrected vision can stick to their existing glasses, and people who do not use glasses can use glasses frames without lenses.
Considering that typical vision-related devices do not take the wearer's convenience and appearance into consideration for their functionality, making it difficult to encourage them to be worn, especially by children, the present device body (1) has top and bottom vision blocking plate wings (10). It was designed to facilitate the design of the wing shape of a butterfly, dragonfly, beetle, etc. by spreading it out to reduce the feeling of resistance to wearing it.
According to the present invention, people who are exposed to video media such as TV or mobile phones for a long time, especially young children, are supported to maintain binocular vision, thereby supporting visual ailments caused by monocular vision. (Strabismus, amblyopia, etc.) can be prevented. In addition, it was designed in the shape of wings to facilitate the development of various designs (butterflies, dragonflies, beetles, etc.), so it can be widely used by reducing resistance to wearing.
