Recent portable terminals are equipped with cameras to enable video calls and photo taking. In addition, as the utilization of cameras mounted on portable terminals increases, the demand for high-resolution and high-performance cameras for portable terminals is gradually increasing.
However, since portable terminals tend to become smaller or lighter, there is a limit to implementing high-resolution and high-performance cameras.
In addition, in the case of a telephoto lens, a relatively long focal length is formed, and thus a total length (TTL) may also be long, making it difficult to mount the telephoto lens on a small portable electronic device.

In the following lens configuration diagram, the thickness, size, and shape of the lens are somewhat exaggerated for description, and in particular, the spherical or aspherical shape presented in the lens configuration diagram is only presented as an example and is not limited thereto.
First, referring to FIG. 1 , an imaging optical system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a plurality of imaging optical systems, and each of the plurality of imaging optical systems includes a plurality of lenses.
For example, an imaging optical system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a first imaging
The first imaging
By designing angles of view of the plurality of imaging optical systems differently, images of a subject may be captured at various depths and a zoom function may be implemented.
In addition, since a high resolution image or a bright image may be generated by using (eg, synthesizing) a plurality of images of one subject, the image of the subject may be captured clearly even in a low light environment.
A plurality of imaging optical systems may be installed in the portable
Hereinafter, the first imaging
The first imaging
For example, the first imaging
In the embodiment composed of six elements, the first lens means a lens closest to the object side, and the sixth lens means a lens closest to the image sensor.
Further, in each lens, the first surface means a surface close to the object side (or object-side surface), and the second surface means a surface close to the image side (or image side surface). In addition, in the present specification, values for radius of curvature, thickness, distance, etc. of a lens are all units of mm, and units of angles are degrees.
In addition, in the description of the shape of each lens, the convex shape of one surface means that the paraxial region portion of the corresponding surface is convex, and the concave shape of one surface means that the paraxial region portion of the corresponding surface is concave. Therefore, even if one surface of the lens is described as having a convex shape, the edge portion of the lens may be concave. Likewise, even if one surface of the lens is described as having a concave shape, the edge portion of the lens may be convex.
The paraxial region means a very narrow region near the optical axis.

However, the first imaging
For example, the first imaging
In addition, the first imaging
In addition, the first imaging
All lenses constituting the first imaging
In addition, each of the plurality of lenses may have at least one aspheric surface.
That is, at least one of the first and second surfaces of the first to sixth lenses may be an aspherical surface. Here, the aspheric surfaces of the first to sixth lenses are expressed by Equation 1.
In Equation 1, c is the curvature of the lens (the reciprocal of the radius of curvature), K is the conic constant, and Y represents the distance from an arbitrary point on the aspheric surface of the lens to the optical axis. In addition, the constants A to G mean aspheric coefficients. And Z represents the distance from an arbitrary point on the aspheric surface of the lens to the apex of the aspherical surface.
The first imaging
Alternatively, it may have positive/negative/negative/negative/negative/positive refractive power.
