Description
The present invention relates to aerosol-generating articles.
In recent years, there is an increasing demand for alternative products that overcome the disadvantages of traditional combustion cigarettes. As one of these alternative articles, for example, a device that generates an aerosol by electrically heating a cigarette stick (or aerosol-generating article) (eg, a cigarette-type electronic cigarette), a cartridge filled with a liquid containing tobacco components. There is a device (for example, a liquid electronic cigarette) that generates an aerosol by electrically heating the liquid supplied from the cartridge.
While traditional cigarettes have disadvantages due to combustion, combustion-type traditional cigarettes have the advantage of being consumed for a long period of time, so that consumers' familiarity with and satisfaction with smoking are high. Therefore, research on alternative products is being actively conducted in a direction that can overcome the disadvantages while preserving the advantages of conventional combustion-type cigarettes. Among alternative products, cigarette-type electronic cigarettes may have a high level of familiarity with smoking in that only the heating method of the cigarette is changed while maintaining the shape of a traditional cigarette, but the satisfaction with smoking still needs improvement.
Accordingly, the present inventors have completed the present invention by continuously researching to compensate for the disadvantages of cigarette-type electronic cigarettes, such as the feeling of satisfaction for smoking.
It is intended to provide an aerosol-generating article that can compensate for the disadvantages of cigarette-type electronic cigarettes, such as a sense of satisfaction for smoking.

The present invention relates to an aerosol-generating article, and according to one embodiment of the present invention, the aerosol-generating article includes a first aerosol-generating part and a second aerosol-generating part. For reference, FIG. 1 provides a diagram illustrating an aerosol-generating article according to one embodiment of the present invention. The first
The first
The leaf lamina sheet is a sheet made from particulate tobacco obtained by grinding or pulverizing one or both of leaf lamina and tobacco leaf stem. The platelet sheet may be manufactured by a papermaking method, a rolling method, a slurry method, etc. according to a manufacturing method, and the platelet sheet manufactured according to each manufacturing method has a difference in internal structure or physical properties. The papermaking method is to separate fibers and extracts from the above-described particulate tobacco raw material by using extraction, and then process the separated fibers into a paper form to manufacture a sheet. The slurry method is the above-described particulate tobacco A sheet is manufactured by mixing a phosphorus raw material with a specific solvent to prepare a slurry and then injecting the slurry. Since a number of nicotine components are separated from the fibers and included in the extract during extraction in the papermaking method, the final sheet is prepared by preparing a sheet and then coating the concentrated solution of the separated extract again.
According to one embodiment of the present invention, the platelet sheet included in the
Since the nicotine content is not high in that the leaf blade and tobacco petiole are used as raw materials, the segment for the main purpose of nicotine transfer, in this specification, when used in the
The first
The first
According to one embodiment of the present invention, the aerosol generating composition in the second
In order to secure functionality in the aerosol-generating
The aerosol-generating composition may include a moisturizing component. The moisturizing component maintains moisture in the aerosol generated when heating the aerosol-generating

According to one embodiment of the present invention, the moisturizing component is 50% to 99% by weight, specifically 65% to 95% by weight, more specifically 80% to 90% by weight based on the weight of the composition for generating an aerosol. is included in the aerosol-generating composition. When the moisturizing component is included in an amount exceeding the above range, it is difficult to be easily impregnated into a substrate such as a platelet sheet or tobacco cut filler in terms of physical properties of the aerosol generating composition, and when the moisturizing component is included below the above range, basically nicotine, etc. Not only is the functionality for the implementation of cigarettes degraded, but the moisture content in the aerosol is low, making it difficult for the unique taste of tobacco to be smoothly delivered to the user.
The aerosol-generating composition may include a binding component. The binding component helps other components other than the binding component in the aerosol-generating composition to be impregnated into a base material such as a leaf sheet sheet or tobacco cut filler in a larger amount. Natural gum may be used as the binding component in consideration of the fact that the aerosol-generating composition component is actually inhaled into the human body. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the binding component is guar gum, gum arabic or a combination thereof.
In the aerosol-generating composition, the binding component may be appropriately adjusted in consideration of the above-described functionality. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the binding component is 1% to 40% by weight, specifically 3% to 25% by weight, more specifically 5% to 15% by weight based on the weight of the aerosol-generating composition. is included in the aerosol-generating composition. When the binding component is included in an amount exceeding the above range, the content of other components such as a moisturizing component is relatively reduced, so that the content of moisture in the aerosol may be insufficient, and when the binding component is included below the above range, the aerosol generating composition Physical properties It is difficult to be easily impregnated into substrates such as sheet leaf sheets or tobacco cut filler.
The aerosol-generating composition may include a flavoring component.
An aerosol-generating article having the same structure as shown in FIG. 1 was prepared. Specifically, the aerosol-generating article has a circumference of about 22.7 mm, a length of about 48 mm, a first aerosol-generating portion of about 10 mm, a second aerosol-generating portion of about 12 mm, a first filter portion of about 12 mm, and a length of about 14 mm. It is composed of a second filter unit of. The first aerosol generating unit is filled with a sheet sheet impregnated with about 30% by weight of an aerosol generating composition, and the sheet sheet is prepared by a papermaking method and a slurry method in parallel, and contains about 500 ppm of nicotine. The aerosol-generating composition includes about 87% by weight of a moisturizing component (a mixture of glycerin and propylene glycol in a weight ratio of 8:2), about 10% by weight of guar gum, and about 3% by weight of peppermint flavor. The second aerosol generating unit is filled with tobacco cut filler impregnated with about 10% by weight of the aerosol generating composition. In addition, the first filter unit filled the paper pipe in the longitudinal direction, and the second filter unit filled cellulose acetate.
1Comparative Example 1
An aerosol-generating article was manufactured in the same manner as in Example 1, except that the first aerosol-generating part was made of cellulose acetate in the same way as the second filter part.
2Comparative Example 2
An aerosol-generating article was manufactured in the same manner as in Example 1, except that the second aerosol-generating part was extended and applied in place of the first aerosol-generating part without the first aerosol-generating part in the aerosol-generating article.
실험예Experimental example
By burning the cigarettes according to Example 1, Comparative Example 1 and Comparative Example 2, Total Particulate Matter (TPM), Tar, Nicotine, Propylene Glycol (PG), Glycerine , GLY) and water components (mg / stick) were measured and shown in Table 1 below. Specifically, the experiment was conducted in a smoking room with a temperature of about 22 ± 2 ° C and a humidity of about 60 ± 5% by applying each cigarette sample to an aerosol generating device, inhaling 55 ml for 3 seconds and waiting for 27 seconds. A total of 14 puffs were performed under CRM81 conditions, a standard measurement method for electronic cigarettes, and aerosols generated for each cigarette sample were collected and analyzed. The total particulate matter (TPM) is a value obtained by measuring the weight change of cigarettes after smoking using the smoking device, and the contents of the remaining components were confirmed by analyzing the collected smoke by GC (Gas Choromatography). Here, in the case of tar, the total particulate matter (TPM) was calculated by subtracting the amount of water and nicotine.
According to Table 1, when the platelet impregnated with the aerosol generating composition was introduced into the first aerosol generator as in Example 1, Comparative Example 1 in which cellulose acetate was introduced at the same position and the first aerosol generator without the first aerosol generator were introduced. Compared to Comparative Example 2, in which the two aerosol generators were extended and introduced, it was confirmed that a significantly larger amount of aerosol corresponding to the total particulate matter was generated, and the amount of atomization was excellent.
In addition, the platy leaf sheet constituting the first aerosol generating unit of Example 1 basically contains a small amount of nicotine, and the first aerosol generating unit introducing the platy leaf impregnated with the aerosol generating composition transfers components such as nicotine. Since a large amount of propylene glycol, glycerin, moisture, etc. can be generated, not only nicotine but also a large amount of tar components other than nicotine can be contained to enhance the flavor of tobacco.
