Abstract

The present invention was contents created by research to protect against the pain caused by aftereffects that the inventor suffered from immediately after an accident until now by a head-on collision with a car traveled in an opposite direction on the highway about 20 years ago. The present invention started from the fact that the greatest risk of life-saving of existing airbags could be avoided, but passengers could not be prevented from impacts that might occurred later on the vertebrae and particularly the cervical vertebrae. The aftereffects of impacts on the vertebrae and particularly the cervical vertebrae cause long-term pain to victims and require large medical expenses, and thus this was a research subject that needed to be fully considered. It is believed that through the present invention, the safety of all passengers using means of transportation can be further secured. According to the present invention, an airbag has a shape for a method for changing an existing airbag shape, has a shape for a method for new installation thereof, and is applied to all driving devices and passengers in all transportation devices. Therefore, the airbag can be designed to protect the vertebrae of passengers in case of a collision or a rear-end accident.
