Even in the same mammal, symptom relief and early healing are possible without side effects, there is no risk of developing resistant strains, and designed for user convenience, it is economical, convenient, and has excellent efficacy in treating skin diseases.
Description
The present invention relates to a skin disease treatment device and a skin disease treatment system including the same.
In recent years, livestock farms in the front line of cattle have suffered serious damage due to skin diseases of cattle. For example, the recently invented bovine ringworm disease (dermatomycosis, ringworm) is caused by infection with a fungus called Tricophyton verucosum or T. mentagrophytes, which germinates by attaching to the stratum corneum of hair follicles. A spore is formed around the hair, and the infected hair becomes weak and breaks. In addition, ringworm in cows is a highly contagious disease, and it can be said that early treatment is essential in that it spreads quickly and there is a high risk of secondary infection caused by wounds at the lesion site. However, despite the above seriousness, a suitable treatment method has not yet been found.
On the other hand, companion animals are characterized by a long contact time with humans and a high level of direct skin-to-skin contact. Therefore, when a zoonotic skin disease, a disease that can be transmitted between animals and humans, occurs in companion animals, the probability of transmission to humans is very high. For example, Malassezia is a typical fungal skin disease that occurs in dog breeds, and skin diseases such as staphylococcal, candida, or ringworm that occur frequently from bacteria or fungi are infectious to humans as well as companion animals due to their zoonotic nature. can become painful.
Fungal diseases transmitted from companion animals to humans are treated by protecting the affected area to promote natural healing, or by applying or oral administration of antifungal agents such as terbinafine or azole derivatives.
However, skin diseases that are transmitted from humans to companion animals are difficult to improve by protecting the affected area due to the nature of the companion animal, and the companion animal may scratch or lick the affected area directly, causing inflammation or secondary effects. It has developed into an infection and is being transitioned to a chronic and complex skin disease.
The use of currently used antibiotics may cause the emergence of new multidrug-resistant bacteria and side effects of metabolism, and long-term use of ointments or sprays may accompany side effects such as hormonal disturbance, obesity and diabetes mellitus. . In addition, in the case of skin diseases caused by fungi such as Malassezia, ringworm, and Candida, antifungal agents (Azole derivatives: Ketoconazole, Itraconazole, etc.) are expensive and have a significant effect on liver and kidney functions because their efficacy is expressed through extensive liver metabolism. can go crazy
On the other hand, in Photodynamic Therapy (PDT), a non-toxic drug or dye known as a photosensitizer is administered systemically or locally to a patient with a lesion, and then energy transfer occurs by the interaction of light and the photosensitizer. It is a treatment method in which a local chemical effect occurs. With the recent development of a photosensitizer for treatment and the development of a technology for the delivery of the photosensitizer and the
The photodynamic therapy has an advantage in that it can be used for treatment even on animals, for example, in veterinary hospitals, it is partially used for the treatment of dermatitis and the like for companion animals. However, because the process of injecting the photosensitizer into the body is required, there is a risk of side effects due to drug absorption and drug implementation, and professional manpower is required to calculate and operate the correct injection amount, and the price is high because laser equipment is used. The problem is that it is expensive.
In addition, in the case of products marketed for home use during the photodynamic treatment, there is a problem that only specific bacteria are effective in the antibacterial function mechanism and there is no efficacy in the antifungal area, and short wavelength LED or UV light irradiation is used for home use. In some cases, there is a problem in that normal cells in addition to the affected part are necrotic.
Therefore, there is a need for a skin disease treatment technology to solve the above problems.
The present invention is convenient to use, there is no risk of developing resistant strains, can alleviate symptoms and early healing without side effects even for mammals such as livestock and companion animals, and has high efficacy in the treatment of bacteria as well as fungi A disease treatment device and a skin disease treatment system including the same are provided.

Measurement of Singlet Oxygen Outdiffusion Ratio of Photosensitive Films
Singlet oxygen generation quantum yields were measured for the photosensitive films of Preparation Examples 1 to 13. The quantum yield of singlet oxygen generation was directly measured by the phosphorescence signal generated upon de-excitation of singlet oxygen. Singlet oxygen phosphorescence as a function of time and wavelength using Nd-YAG (Continuum surelite II-10, 10 Hz, 7 ns FWHM pulse) pumping parameters Oscillator (OPO) laser (Continuum OPO plus, 5 ns FWHM pulse) as excitation light source was detected. The phosphorescence signal was detected using a monochromator (Optometrics LLC, mini-chrom04) and NIR-PMT (Hamamatsu, H10330A) in the direction perpendicular to the excitation beam. Signals were acquired using a 500 MHz digital oscilloscope (Agilent Technology, DS07052A) and data were analyzed using a computer.
The rate of diffusion of singlet oxygen to the outside of the film was measured by the following method.
The respective amplitude values A1, A2 and A3 obtained here were calculated as time values t1, t2 and t3.
