Abstract

The present invention relates to a window frame equipped with a handle and a locking device among window frames of a folding door and, more specifically, to a thermal bridge prevention window frame for a folding door having a new insulation structure, capable of solving an issue about a thermal bridge phenomenon occurring due to a metal locking device embedded in the window frame. In accordance with the present invention, the thermal bridge prevention window frame for a folding door includes: a base frame having an opening part formed on an opposite position in which a sash is installed; and a first insulation bar fit and installed in the opening part of the base frame through groove-protrusion fitting combination. The first insulation bar is provided with a locking bar housing part such that a locking bar of the locking device connecting the handle with a locking unit of the locking device can be operated in interoperation with the handle while kept housed in the locking bar housing part. Therefore, the present invention is capable of improving the insulation performance of the folding door.
