The area variable kitchen shelf (hereinafter, referred to as a kitchen shelf) according to the present invention is composed of a shelf body 1 and an auxiliary shelf 3 that can be drawn out from the side of the shelf body 1 . The auxiliary shelf 3 is preferably installed on the left and right sides of the shelf body 1, respectively, for balance.

In the shelf body 1, a plurality of main rods 5 are fixed and installed in parallel with an interval therebetween. The shelf body 1 may be installed on the bottom plate of the upper cabinet to be suspended from the upper cabinet installed above the user's head, or it may be placed on the upper surface of the counter. That is, the shelf body may be installed suspended by a predetermined shelf installation means or installed at a predetermined height from the floor surface. In some cases, it may be installed to protrude at a right angle to the vertical wall like a general shelf.

The shelf installation means for hanging the shelf body 1 may be a vertical support 19 coupled to the main frame 7 at a right angle. The vertical support 19 may be manufactured by bending a metal wire having a rectangular cross-section, and a bracket (not shown) for fixing with screws or the like may be installed at an upper end thereof. The lower end of the vertical support 19 may penetrate the main frame 7 up and down and then be fixed with a nut or the like. The vertical support 19 may be configured to be foldable as shown. Seating grooves 20 into which the lower end of the vertical support 19 can be fitted are provided on the left and right sides of the main frame 7 , respectively.

The seating groove 20 has upper and lower portions open and one side, that is, a portion facing the shelf body 1, is opened. After being assembled to the bolt (19a) or installed rotatably around a pin and then unfolded to stand vertically, it is inserted into the seating groove 20 through the open side of the seating groove 20 and both sides are seated.
