Abstract

The folding umbrella comprises: a storage unit having a space at a lower end of a handle of the umbrella; an umbrella cover which is made of high elasticity and waterproof material connected by a connector, provided in the storage unit in an inverted form so that simple items can be stored without risk of contamination by using a string adjuster and a string formed at an end of the umbrella cover; and a built-in cover with a pouch, which is an openable cover at a lower end of the storage unit, thereby solving disadvantages of the conventional folding umbrella which additionally requires another bag, pouch or the like, due to the lack of elasticity in order to store the items which are in possession with the portable folding umbrella. The folding umbrella according to the present invention prevents contamination of the covered umbrella and items by using the string adjuster and string provided at the end of the umbrella cover. The foldable umbrella according to the present invention is advantageous in that the umbrella cover is not wet and can be easily stored even when the wet foldable umbrella is surrounded by a waterproof material used in the umbrella cover.
