Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an ice pack having excellent cooling and thermal insulation effects.
Dry ice or ice packs are often used to maintain freshness when moving and delivering frozen or refrigerated food outdoors.
Dry ice refers to a coolant made from solid carbon dioxide by compressing gaseous carbon dioxide. This dry ice cannot be easily obtained because it requires a separate manufacturing process. Since the temperature is about -78℃, it can cause frostbite if touched with bare hands. It should be handled and stored carefully. In addition, it is a one-time coolant that sublimates and disappears unless it is stored below -78℃, so its efficiency is inferior.
On the other hand, the ice pack contains a refrigerant with high specific heat inside, so by mixing the refrigerant with water and freezing it, it is possible to keep the surroundings at a low temperature through the heat absorption of the ice pack. These ice packs are widely used because they are easy to handle and store, unlike dry ice, and can be used semi-permanently.
However, even if fresh food is stored or packaged and distributed using ice packs, the period to maintain freshness is not very long.
Moreover, when the ice pack is frozen, the packaging material is torn, and there is a possibility of contamination of the storage material.
Accordingly, there is a need to develop an ice pack capable of preventing tearing or bursting of the packaging material while having excellent cooling or thermal insulation performance.
The present invention is to solve the problems of the prior art described above.
It is an object of the present invention to provide an ice pack capable of maximizing a cooling or warming effect, preventing a tear phenomenon of a packaging material, and a bursting phenomenon during freezing.
According to an embodiment of the present invention for achieving the above object, there is provided an ice pack comprising a packaging material in which a PE sheet is formed on a surface in contact with the inner accommodation space.
The PE sheet may be formed of foam or foam paper.
The packaging material may include an LLDPE sheet, an LDPE sheet, and an uppermost sheet, which are sequentially stacked in the outer direction of the ice pack based on the PE sheet.
According to another embodiment of the present invention, the packaging material; And comprising a PE sheet as a filler in the inner space of the packaging material, an ice pack is provided.
The PE sheet may be formed of porous foam or foam paper.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, since a PE sheet made of a porous material is included as a packing material or an inner filler of an ice pack, a cooling or warming effect can be maximized.
In addition, according to an embodiment of the present invention, tearing of the packaging material may be minimized due to the inclusion of the PE sheet, and a bursting phenomenon in the freezing process may be prevented when the ice pack is cooled.
