Description
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for manufacturing a lightweight compressed conductor wire, and more particularly, to a manufacturing method and apparatus for thinning and lightweight a compressed conductor wire used in automobiles and the like.
Generally, electric wire is a term that refers to a line of current used to send electric power or electric signals. There are two types: spiral and insulated wire. Spirals are usually made of copper, and divided into single and stranded wires. The insulated wire is the outer surface of the helix wrapped with an insulating material such as rubber or enamel.
The types of wires or cables include insulated wires, cords, high voltage cables, low voltage cables, and bare wires. Copper (copper and hard copper), aluminum alloy, copper alloy, etc. are used as the conductor. Natural rubber, synthetic rubber, synthetic resin, etc. are used as insulators or protective coating materials, but synthetic resins have been used in recent years due to the development of synthetic resins.
In particular, the wires for automobiles are required to have flexibility of core wires and robustness of an insulating coating layer so that they can withstand vibrations, heat and oil contamination generated during driving of automobiles.
Automotive wires are classified into AV, AVS, and AVSS according to the type of insulating coating layer, and are classified into CAV and CAVSS according to the degree of compression of the core wire.
