일반적으로 납땜을 할때에 납에서 연기가 나오는데 이를 방지하기 위해서 우리들은 마스크를 쓰거 나 납 연기를 흡입해주는 장치가 있었는데 막상 사용을 해보면 납 연기 흡입이 잘 안되는 것 같았고, 마스크를 쓰게 되면 얼굴이 불편하고 시야가 잘 확보되지 않아서 납땜을 할 때 불편함을 주었다. 또한 그냥 인두기는 온도조절 및 측정장치가 없어서 납땜을 할때 조심하지 못하면 손에 화상을 입는 경우가 대부분이었고, 인두기의 선을 무선으로 하여 납땜을 할때 보다 안전하고 편리하게 사용하게 될 것이다.In general, when soldering, the smoke comes out of lead.
